Let the games begin, gentlemen. Ain't no one gonna breach Team Stairwell.
Trade Announcement:
"Dark Cloud" drops Jeremy Teela, picks up Kathleen Kauth of the women's hockey team.
I am surprised that nobody took Anne “Grandma Luge” Abernathy, the 52-year-old sensation.
I hope for her sake her bones don't have to endure a crash at those speeds.
Trade Announcement:
"Cuddling with Lee's Mom" drops Michelle Kwan, adds Ben Agosto (ice dancing)
Going to the judges on this one: did we make a determination on when we can and can't drop countries from the draft order? I know there's no dumping a person once an official heat begins, but I'd like to pick up a free agent country. Thoughts?
I don't really have a preference. Given that the country is only being used as a tie-breaker, I don't think it would be held to the same standards as an athlete. But whatever the group decides is okay with me. That is, of course, if Jeremy is wanting to pick up the Netherlands because he is Dutch. Otherwise, I might have to re-think this.
That is precisely what I did. With all the U-S-A talk, I lost sight of my national pride.
Hey, thanks for the info. Just a quick heads up - I was reading the wikipedia page about skateboarding tricks and at the bottom there's a link to something called a "tricktionary". Never heard of anything like it before but it's extremely useful if like me you have trouble understanding what some skate tricks actually are.
